Previous Training Sessions

Over the last 18 months we have been very fortunate to travel to various places around the country delivering Miromaa Technology training to Aboriginal people involved with language maintenance programs in their area. Some of the places that we have been to are:

  • Geelong Victoria
  • Preston Victoria
  • Townsville Queensland
  • Cardwell Queensland
  • Weipa Queensland
  • Yatala Queensland
  • Toowoomba Queensland
  • Hope Vale/ Cooktown Queensland
  • Newcaste New South Wales

This training has been done in conjunction with the following organisations and would not have been possible without their fantastic support:

Microsoft Australia

Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages

State Library of Queensland

North Queensland Regional Aboriginal Language Centre

Yugambeh Cultural Museum

Cape York Bama Languages Corporation

The best way to describe some of the training that has happened in the past is to show you with some video and photos so here you go.
