Occasionally we release updates to Miromaa to improve or add new functionality. Whenever we release an update we send out an email with a link to download the new version.

Please check the email address you used to sign up for Miromaa, if you can not find it check your junk mail folder.

We are always trying to make Miromaa serve our users (you!) the best that it can. If you have a suggestion to improve or build on Miromaa please let us know.

There are two ways to update Miromaa:

1. You can get Miromaa to do an auto-update
2. You can download and install Miromaa manually
   This option works if the autoupdate has not worked or if you do not have internet access on your Miromaa computer.

Auto-Updating Miromaa

1. Start Miromaa
2. At login screen note which version you have by looking at bottom right hand corner
   
   
   
   
3. Under the ‘Help Menu’ in the Menu Bar click on ‘Check for Updates’
   
   
   
   
4. If you see this message you have the latest version. You can go have a cup of tea, you don’t need to do anything.
   
   
   
   
5. If you see this message – ‘An update is available’ continue with the next step:
   
   
   
   
6. Click ‘Yes’ to download this update.
7. The ‘Miromaa Update Download’ will appear in a separate window
8. Before you click start please close down Miromaa
   1. Go to ‘File’ in the Main Menu Bar
   2. Click ‘Logout’.
   Otherwise the auto-updater won’t work.
   
   
   
   
9. Click ‘Start’ to commence the download.
   
   
   
   When the download has finished you will see this window,
   
   
10. Click ‘Ok’
    
    
    
    
11. Confirm you wish to proceed by clicking ‘Next’
    
    
    
    
12. Installation Complete window will now appear. Click ‘Close’ to exit.
    
    
    
    Congratulations you now have the latest version of Miromaa.
    
    
13. You can now restart Miromaa by double clicking the Miromaa Icon.
    
    
    

Updating Miromaa Manually

If you are using Miromaa on a computer that isn’t connected to the internet or the auto-update isn’t working you can easily install it manually.

Please note that you will need access to the Internet to download the latest version.

If you do not have the Internet on your Miromaa computer you can:

1. Download it onto another computer
2. Save it onto a memory stick (or similar)
3. Insert the memory stick into your Miromaa computer.
4. Navigate to your memory stick and click on the updater as in the following instructions.

You can download the latest version of Miromaa:

1. From the learning room on our website in Section 4 - Updating Miromaa http://www.miromaa.com.au/miromaa/learning-centre/learning-room.html 
2. You can also ask us for a link to download by emailing miromaa@acra.org.au or PH: +61 2 4927 8222
3. Whenever we release an update we send out an email with a link to download the new version. Please check the email address you used to sign up for Miromaa, if you can not find it check your junk mail folder.

Once you have downloaded the new version:

1. Navigate to your downloads folder (or the disk you have used to transfer it) It should be called Miromaa 3.5.1Update (please note, the numbers will change with each version so they will be different).
   
   
   
   
2. Click ‘Run’ to commence the installation
   
   
   
   
3. The Miromaa Setup Wizard will appear, Click ‘Next’
   
   
   
   
4. Confirm you wish to proceed by clicking ‘Next’
   
   
   
   
5. Installation Complete window will now appear. Click ‘Close’ to exit.
   
   
   Congratulations you now have the latest version of Miromaa. 11.
   
   
6. You can now restart Miromaa by double clicking the Miromaa Icon.
